The traditional educational paradigm, characterised by state-owned, politically biased curricula, altered and framed history, and narrow specialisation dictated by industrial needs, has failed humanity on multiple levels. Additionally, the educational system has often been treated as a profitable business, further exacerbating these issues.

World Union University introduces three fundamental changes:

Rather than teaching a fixed set of topics, we facilitate and guide the learning process, allowing students to discover and pursue their individual interests and goals.

What to Learn: A New Way of Learning

We introduce a new approach to learning that uses individuality as the foundation for choosing a learning direction. Our curriculum is highly modular, grouped into pathways, and is fully customisable to suit individual goals and aspirations. Pathways are recommended based on profiling and personality analysis, maximising each individual's gifts and motivation. Institutions structure learning programmes based on these chosen pathways.

  • Individualised Curriculum: Each student's learning path is tailored based on personality profiling and individual aspirations, ensuring that the education they receive aligns with their unique strengths and goals.
  • Modular and Customisable Pathways: The curriculum is broken down into modules that can be mixed and matched to suit individual interests, allowing for a highly personalised education experience.

How to Learn: Innovative Learning Principles

Learning occurs in small peer groups, formed based on common interests and pathways. There are no traditional teachers or lessons; students learn autonomously, both on-site and online. Each student is assigned a mentor who meets with them weekly to discuss progress and challenges. The mentor's role is to provide guidance and support, rather than to teach any particular subject. Tests on selected topics serve as tools to iterate and enhance mental retention. Peer group members teach each other, while students in higher grades guide and support those in lower grades. Practice-based learning is integrated into the programme whenever possible, and for subjects that cannot be practised, learning through teaching others is employed throughout the course.

  • Practice-Based Learning: Whenever possible, subjects are taught through practical application. When this isn't feasible, students solidify their knowledge by teaching their peers.
  • Adaptive Assessment: Tests are designed to enhance understanding and retention of the material, serving as a tool for self-improvement rather than a measure of failure.
  • Practice based learning: If any subject that can be practiced, it is ingrained into the programme. If the subject cannot be practiced, learning by teaching others is used throughout the course.

We develop and conduct personality tests to uncover inner gifts, passions, learning preferences, deep aspirations, and other individual traits. These insights help shape each student's learning pathway, group them effectively, and ultimately empower them to pursue what they truly desire to learn.
