Service fees are our commitment to advancing and enhancing the platform, enriching your experience with a diverse range of premium services and in-depth reports, meticulously tailored to the philanthropic product you've chosen.
These fees are exclusively calculated based on your active investments. The fee is deducted from each investment amount of the selected initiative, upon the delivery of the first financial report. The fee varies between different products, tiers and funds. Your total investment intentions or the cumulative investment portfolio, that you've committed remain unaffected.
For example, if you have a 1M total commitment to the cause or investment intent, but only 100k are transferred to the projects, the fee is charged only on latter amount.
It's important to note that the monthly fee for your chosen products, like Social Investment Platform or Philanthropy One are distinct set of fees that do not include the service fee.
Distinct from service fees, project fees are individualized for each project or initiative. These fees are determined by the project team before presenting the initiative offer to the platform or individual funder. Project fees are made visible in the private data section of the project upon the receipt of funding or funding intent. These fees are held in reserve until the project reaches completion, contingent upon the performance of the project and the team. If performance falls short, these fees may be subject to refund. More information regarding project fee structure can be found in the Project section within the Implementation policies.
Certain projects necessitate a System Report, which stands as a fundamental document analyzing a project's potential and its projected impact before it becomes a candidate for funding. This is applicable across a spectrum of offerings including Impact Marketplace projects, managed Public/Private initiatives, Custom projects, and Call to impact, among others. The System Report fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge. In return, you receive a comprehensive report outlining the prospective performance and sustainability of the project. In the context of our in-house Funds, the System Report fee is proportionally divided and charged based on the share of the fund's intent. Additional details about Fund fees and processes can be found in the Funds section within the "Funds 101" article.
